This worksheet focuses on doing verbs and asks students to use more ‘vivid verbs’ to describe characters and help create a picture in the readers mind. Students are provided with a list of ‘vivid verbs’ that can be used to replace overused verbs such as ‘got’, ‘went’, ‘put’, and ‘ate’.
