Description

Students will use their knowledge of ‘5 Star Writing’ to read over and edit Eddie’s writing. On each re-reading they should focus on one of the 5 skills they have learnt about in the editing unit- Excellent Editing- Year 1. 

These include:

  1. Capital Letters- Have I used capital letters and lowercase letters where I need them?
  2. Punctuation- Do all of my sentence's end with punctuation?
  3. Spelling- Does each work look right?
  4. Vocabulary- Does it make sense? 
  5. Handwriting- Is my handwriting neat? Have I used finger spaces?
