Description

Students will use their knowledge of ‘5 Star Writing’ to read over and edit Edward, Eva and Erin’s writing. On each re-reading they should focus on one of the 5 skills they have learnt about in the editing unit- Excellent Editing- Year 3. 

These include:

  1. Capital Letters- Have I used capital letters where I need them?
  2. Punctuation- Have I used correct punctuation?
  3. Spelling- Have I used strategies to spell words correctly?
  4. Clarity- Can I add, delete, move or replace words?
  5. Handwriting- Is my work neatly presented?
