Empathy Emotion Match

Empathy Emotion Match
Description

In this game, students link other peoples’ feelings with what people say or do, at various levels of abstraction.

Suitable for
  • Relief Teachers
  • Parents
Lesson Structure
  • Individual Activity
  • Rotations / Group Work
Differentiation

Modifications

The cards function at different levels of removal from the individual. For students who might struggle, choose the scenario cards where they are
describing their own feelings, and limit the number and complexity of the feeling responses.

EXTENSIONS

The game can be adjusted to require students to draw more of the emotions rather than to use the predawn versions.
