This great unit is progressive in nature and is suitable for both Foundation and revision in Year 1.
Students will learn about CVC word families that use the short vowel sound. They will orally blend and segment onset and rime in CVC words as well as isolate, blend and manipulate phonemes in CVC words through a variety of fun games, activities and worksheets. Students will also be given the opportunity to practise segmenting sentences into individual words.
