This worksheet asks students to decide whether the phrases or sentences are written in formal or informal language. Once decided, students are asked to use their knowledge of the features in both styles of writing and change the style of writing. This worksheet could be used as an explicit teaching activity, independent activity, during literacy rotations or a guided language group.
