Description

Students will experience a basic recount planner by drawing pictures to represent Where, Who and What they did on the weekend, holidays or other personal experience. It also introduces time openers such as First, Then, Next. Students will then use these ideas to write a basic recount.

Weekend or holiday recounts are a simple way for students to begin writing using the structure of a recount. The blank option could be used along with a language experience you choose to give the students or a personal experience of their own choice.
