This comprehensive presentation has been created to guide students through understanding that nouns name people, places, animals, concrete objects or ‘things’ and abstract concepts like ‘feelings’. The presentation begins by giving examples of nouns and going through the three types- common, proper and pronouns. It then explains noun groups and phrases and provides a review of nouns at the conclusion. The presentation is aimed at Year 2 and is part of a bigger unit- Nifty Nouns.
