This presentation is an excellent way to introduce the concept of teen numbers. Students have the opportunity to learn the number and word representation of each number, as well as different ways to model the numbers using place value. The presentation is part of a wider Number 11-20 unit.
Have students use mini whiteboards, unifix and tens frames to practise writing and making the numbers. This presentation can be used as a daily warm-up – just change the order of the numbers you display.
