These worksheets have been created to have students consolidate their knowledge of how many syllables are contained in more complex words. The worksheets have been created to gradually release students. First, students must look at the pictures and say the words aloud, identifying how many syllables. Students can colour the objects on the page to the corresponding crayons. Secondly, students can attempt to spell the words, using knowledge of learnt spelling patterns.
