This presentation introduces students to the water cycle. They learn the 4 stages of the water cycle as an extension on what they know about states of matter.
This presentation is part of a short unit based on the Year 4 Australian national science curriculum. It is designed to build on students' prior knowledge of the states of matter while introducing a basic understanding of the water cycle.
Identify sources of water and describe key processes in the water cycle, including movement of water through the sky, landscape and ocean; precipitation; evaporation; and condensation
