View Curriculum Codes
Description

Students will recognise short vowels when reading single syllable words.

Each owl represents a short vowel, which can be used in a classroom sorting activity. We've included several options to allow flexibility in learning. This activity is perfectly suited to literacy/reading rotations. It would also be a perfect activity for relief teachers.
