This unit is based on the Foundation Australian Curriculum HASS Inquiry Skills and Knowledge and Understanding for History. Students explore their family history as they delve into the family structure and create concept maps of their family with drawings and photographs to show connections to those who make up their family. Students collect information from questioning and observing to share details of their family history, including where they were born and raised. Students will demonstrate their understanding by completing a family history flip book with information about their family members and family history.
