They can be very similar between different animals, and there can be interesting outliers, During the course of this 9 lesson unit, students will look at their own developmental stages, and compare that to other animals (mammals, and insects) and plants.

Students will:

  • Learn that all living things go through a number of stages or changes as they grow and learn. 
  • Look at how this happens to humans, nonhuman animals and plants, including a focus on their own growth and development. 
  • Complete a summative assessment information report where they research an animal’s growth and development.
