This resource and assessment has been designed to align with the Australian Curriculum content descriptor, ‘Describe and draw two-dimensional shapes, with and without digital technologies' (Year 2). Students have the opportunity to draw a 2D shape or glue in one they have created. Students then name the shape and describe its features. A great resource to display and also as an assessment tool to check your students' understanding.
Recognise, compare and classify shapes, referencing the number of sides and using spatial terms such as “opposite”, “parallel”, “curved” and “straight”
Describe and draw two-dimensional shapes, with and without digital technologies
