This comprehensive unit takes students through the purpose, structure and features of the different text types. The unit begins with a presentation to begin conversations about the different purpose, structure and features of text types. The unit also contains posters, student reference cards, activities, worksheets and a quiz. At the completion of the unit, an assessment has been included to monitor student understanding.
