This resource has been designed to explore evaluative language and shades of meaning. It will allow students to begin using vocabulary that will express a greater precision of meaning in student writing. Simply cut out the words and order them on the continuum according to the level of their strength, modality or meaning. Use the What Does it Mean? template, included in the pack, to deepen their understanding of new vocabulary.
