Description

This worksheet is a template to create a large classroom tessellation. Students cut out and colour the bird shape, which can then be assembled into a larger tessellation. For impact, give students multiple birds (4 allows them to make a set) or print the template in A3.
This worksheet is a part of a larger unit designed to teach your students to describe translations, as well as how to use those translations to make patterns, images, and tessellations.
