This initial blend resource is great for consolidating the concept of blends and the phoneme or phonemes that are made at the beginning of a word. Use this resource to decide which pictures on the page begin with the correct blend. Not all pictures will begin with the correct blend. Students can also use this resource to colour in the pictures that make the correct initial sound/s.
