This engaging Part Part Whole to 10 Unit guides students through part part whole and partitioning concepts. This unit uses many visuals to illustrate the part part whole relationship to students, and how related number facts can be used to solve addition and subtraction problems. This unit consolidates students’ understanding of number bonds to 10, before moving on to partitioning beyond 10. Students learn how to partition collections, and record the facts with a part part whole diagram/bar.
