Students will cut and paste the mixed-up ideas for the recount to match the 5W category they belong to. Once complete they will use those ideas to write a basic recount and practise including each of those elements.
Use when introducing recounts to give students exposure to the 5W’s. This could also be used as an independent activity during writing rotations.
