This unit is based on the Year 2 Australian Curriculum HASS Inquiry Skills, Knowledge and Understandings. Students investigate people and places of historical importance by developing and responding to questions. They will then sort, organise and interpret information from sources to draw conclusions about their importance and significance. Finally, students will create a brochure about a person, group of people or place of historical importance, encompassing the skills and knowledge learnt in this unit.
