The students loved this lesson we use concrete materials and then did this as a sort
Absorbent And Waterproof Materials Sorting Activity
Students will sort items by determining, based on its function, whether each item is made from an absorbent material or waterproof material.
This forms part of the Foundation Chemical Sciences Unit - Materials.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand that objects can be made of different materials which have observable properties, such as colour, texture and stretch.
