Christmas Choice Boards - Foundation
Keep Foundation students engaged during the busy final weeks of Term 4 with Christmas Choice Boards – Foundation. This versatile resource includes six differentiated choice boards filled with short, independent activities that combine early literacy, numeracy, drawing and creative thinking in a fun Christmas theme. Simply project one board onto your interactive whiteboard or print copies for students to complete at their own pace.
Each board contains sixteen carefully designed tasks covering handwriting, phonics, CVC words, letter formation, counting, number sequences, simple patterns, shape recognition, drawing and creative writing. Students select one task from each row, allowing them to work independently while teachers support small groups or conduct assessments. The boards use only decodable words, high-frequency words and familiar number concepts, making them accessible for Foundation learners. Teacher answer slides for every board are included for quick checking and discussion.
Perfect for morning work, literacy and numeracy rotations, fast finishers, relief lessons or the final weeks before Christmas, these reusable choice boards provide meaningful revision while maintaining high student engagement.
