English Unit: Navigating Screen Texts
In this unit, students learn how to find and use different features on screen texts such as headings, buttons, links, menus and images. Through hands-on activities and simple website examples, students practise clicking, choosing and exploring to locate information. By the end of the unit, students understand how screen texts are organised and can confidently use basic features to navigate and find what they need.
Learning goals
- We are learning to compare the features and layout of print and digital texts.
- We are learning that digital texts are organised differently and have different features than physical texts.
