Nouns, Verbs and Adjectives Game for Years 2 and 3: Exit Tickets
Word Class Exit Tickets is a nouns, verbs and adjectives game for Years 2 and 3 by Teach This, an interactive whiteboard game aligned to the Australian Curriculum. Students identify nouns, verbs and adjectives and extend nouns into noun groups using adjectives. The board shows 12 numbered cards, and each card holds one question, such as finding the verb in "The dog barked loudly." The first tap on a card shows the question, the second tap shows the answer and the third tap marks the card as done. A check takes 5 to 10 minutes. It opens in Microsoft PowerPoint on any interactive whiteboard, panel or projector, with no macros, no student logins and no student data collected.
Use it in the last 10 minutes of a grammar lesson, with every student answering on a mini whiteboard, to see who still mixes up word classes. All 12 answers are in the teacher notes for a relief teacher.
